I recently checked my Preordered list over on Audible.com and gulped. Not in a bad way, mind you, but I admit it was a bit daunting.
What is it about authors who publish regularly but, for some odd reason, seem to do so around the same time????!!!!! On one hand it is great to have new material. On the other hand it is a bit daunting trying to figure out how to get through everything in a timely manner.
Gulp!
In my house, we have managed to work our way through every one of the season (or series) finales for the current season. Almost back to <cough> normal. I have yet to catch up on a couple of things tucked to the side for ‘later’. There were good reasons for that…I think.
I’ve also looked at the proposed new season schedules for the networks. Yep, one more indication that we are returning to ‘normal’.
Over on YouTube I recently discovered a series of videos dedicated to those long lost series that didn’t survive into a second series/season. I remember some of them, but I have to admit that when I look back and compare the schedule and popularity it isn’t surprising that they didn’t make the cut.
I say this as I have been reading a lot of folks on both sides of the screen mourning the loss of series. As frustrating as it can be to lose something you look forward to watching, at the end of the day it comes down to economics. Some things never change.
In the meantime I’m looking to see what is available to watch and looking for that Summer Must See show.
I’m also astounded to recognize that we are almost into June.
Looks like I will need to restock the ice bin, make some iced tea, and settle in to enjoy some long looked for treasures.
